PT. Asahimas Flat Glass Tbk (The Company) was established within the foreign capital investment framework of Law No. 1 of 1967 and Law No. 11 of 1970, by deed of notary public Koerniatini Karim dated 7 October 1971 No. 4, as amended by deed of the same notary dated 6 January 1972 No. 9; these deeds were approved by the Minister of Justice under No. J.A.5/5/19 dated 17 January 1972. The Company is a joint venture between Asahi Glass of Japan and the Rodamas Group of Indonesia. Asahi Glass is one of the leading glass producers in the world.

PT. Bank Panin Syariah Tbk (the Bank") was established based on Deed No.12 dated January 8, 1972 of Indrawati Setiabudi, S.H., notary in Malang under the name of PT. Bank Pasar Bersaudara Jaya. Based on Amendement Deed No.27 dated March 27, 1997 of Alfian Yahya S.H, notary in Surabaya, the Bank's name was changed into PT. Bank Harfa. This change was approved by the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Indonesia through Decision Letter No. C2-4004.HT.01.04.Th.97 dated May 21, 1997. Based on Deed No.1 dated August 3, 2009 of Drs. Bambang Tedjo Anggono Budi S.H., M.Kn in lieu of Sutjipto S.H., M.Kn., notary in Jakarta, named of PT. Bank Harfa was changed to PT. Bank Panin Syariah. This change was approved by the Minister of Justice and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia through Decision Letter No. AHU-43152.AH.01.02.Tahun 2009 dated September 2, 2009.
