What is the limit order?

This order type allows buying or selling crypto assets only at a specified price or better. This order guarantees the execution price to be at the specified limit price. However, the order will not be executed if the market price does not reach the limit price.

The following is an illustration of purchasing crypto assets using a Limit Order:

 

Then, below is an illustration of selling crypto assets using Limit Orders:

 

Example:

• For example, you want to buy 1 BTC at the current market price of IDR 650,000.00, then you set the Limit Price at IDR 648,000,000.

• But the next day the price moved down to Rp. 647,500,000

• So your order will only be executed when the price drops to Rp648,000,000 or lower.

Note:

• Orders using Limit Orders will be held for up to 90 days.

• If the order never touches the limit price you set, the order will not occur.
