What are the things to know when sending crypto using Tags?

For the procedure of sending XRP crypto assets, there are additional steps that you must do when sending tokens. You must copy the tag information (for XRP) when entering the recipient's wallet address information.

Note:

• Please note that the feature to send crypto assets from Pluang to other Exchanges will only be supported on Android Version 5.3.7 or higher and iOS Version 5.2.9 or higher. So don't forget to update your Pluang application.

• Sending and receiving XRP coins from and/or to Pluang must use the tag.

• When sending XRP coins to another exchange/wallet, please check whether the other exchange requires a tag. Make sure to fill in the correct tag so that your coins are successfully sent.

• If you are sending XRP coins to an exchange/wallet that does not require a tag, please check with the exchange/wallet first whether you can include a tag, to ensure that the recipient can receive the funds you send.

• One example of an exchange that does not require a tag is Exodus, because Exodus creates a unique wallet address for each user. However, because sending crypto assets from Pluang to another exchange requires a tag, you can fill in anything in the tag column. Please note that for XRP you can only fill in numbers in the tag column.
